Beyond Belief session 8

I think that it’s pretty “Ignorant” to say that the “perimeter of Ignorance” is religion. How is it the perimeter of ignorance? Just because it teaches you right from wrong? People are always thinking that religion limits your mind from expanding the way it should where in fact it does not. It prevents you from think of evil or bad things because of the fear of God, and that you are being judge about everything you do but, how does it make a person ignorant? When in any religious teaching did it say that we are not supposed to explore the universe, or learn mathematics, or evolve into a more superior species. Religion promotes education as a matter of fact because one of the rules is to make an honest day’s living, by trying you best to work hard, and sloth (laziness ) is considered a sin. Why is it a sin? Because laziness will prevent you from wanting to achieve anything that you’ll let you’re self and perfect opportunities waste away right in front of you where in fact you cold jump right no the multiple opportunities as hand. But if you are too lazy to pursue an goals, what is the point honestly? Laziness equals ignorance, religion.
