Edgar Cayce and the Skeptic

Once more the topic of skepticism arises, Edgar Cayce and Mr. Johnson talk about the ideas of open-mindedness like critical thinking is very much needed in order to get through the day. Even though Edgar Cayce seemed to be kind of like and “adored figure” his psychic practices and abilities were disproved. What K Paul Johnson believed was that Cayce’s psychic abilities were actually caused by the paranormal which is scientifically supported. Its really interesting how this guy still had many followers despite the flaws in his psychic abilities. People followed him mainly for his sincerity, it probably did not matter whether or not the information was valid or not, just the fact that he seemed very dedicated t what his beliefs were was convincing enough. Which explains why many of these psychic are not rich, they are kind of like priest, don’t intend to be right because they’re dedicated to something else.
