Fallacies

You don’t really hear the term fallacy used in everyday speech very often, probably only if you are taking an English course but in actuality there are fallacies all around us. Logical fallacies come about quite frequently for instance if you have a friend that went to a party and at that party you know there is someone you don’t like attending, yet you find out that your friend was hanging out and spending time with that person you don’t like. You become very upset at your friend. In his or her defense your friend says something like “oh well they were already there” “I didn’t know they were going to be at that party” “they talked to me instead, I didn’t want to be rude.” Basically you friend will make up all sorts of excuses to cover up for the fact that they know they were caught already. Even though they know their excuse is totally BS they say it anyway because there’s no evidential way of proven them wrong
