The first video was pretty amusing showing the old 1970’s footages of beatniks at the java place dancing just having a good time, because it was “THE” place to be. The video was a little wacky and trippy but it was cool watching it. I like the quote in the beginning of the film by Soren Kierkegaard when he said that “do it or do not you’ll regret both.” Yes it’s a pretty sad and twisted catch 22 kind of idea but it totally makes sense. I mean if you want to do something and do it but it turns out it was a mistake, you’ll regret it. If you don’t do it then you’ll ponder your whole life wondering “what if.” The second video is about Evolution vs fundamentalism. It is basically talking about how fundamentalism is a disease against Evolution/science. I don’t agree with this because fundamentalism is not teaching you to forget about Scientific facts its just teaching the religious part behind the science. This is talking about how truth lies and that non sense actually makes sense since the world is nothing but chaos anyway. This also works for replicating strategies. Voltaire said we basically have to believe in a God whether he’s real or not. After all any meaning is better than no meaning, because we cannot live without purpose. According Darwin there is no such thing as survival of the fittest but survival of the sufficient. This basically talks about how ordinary things in our life actually “edit” the way we are. But this is a course of nature in order to make things sufficient to each other, like a form of balance. The last video was about the importance of consciousness because this goes under self reflective awareness. Consciousness is to be aware and you’re aware by using your eyes to see what to be aware of.
