Richard Dawkins Evolution

About evolution they talk about what is the point of evolution and that it absolutely does not save the species. This is a rather strange statement because I think otherwise. The species evolves and it needs to evolve for a reason. The reason it needs to evolve is because the species needs to develop and progress in order to expand themselves. This is to better themselves as well, so they could have better education and better living conditions. This contributes to saving a species because if a species did not develop they would not go anywhere, and they would even deteriorate and regress. Along with evolution come something called influence. They say that something with a lot of influence on society is homosexuality. I mean at first it was not accepted by people but as time went on it became more and more accepted, and more people were “coming out.” Now they pass the gay marriage law. They believe that there is a thing as a gay gene which is what makes people gay. Some people think homosexuality is mainly influence like following trends. I believe it is influence in the sense that people are freer with exposing themselves to the world because it’s the way of the norm now. Homosexuality I suppose you can say is like a form of mutation of the brain because it is a different way of thinking other that what is natural (man and woman). Not that I’m against it or anything but I just agree with the fact that it a sort of a mutation just for the fact it is unnatural.
